On arrival we're greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our table.
The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, the table also set beautifully, with vintage crockery.
Sandwiches were fresh made and very tasty, with a selection of fillings.Ham was homecooked and delicious.
The fruit scones ,with jam and cream were a real treat,we had a lovely good sized portion of red velvet cake on the stand, plus some petite four.Coffee was of quality, we really enjoyed our treat and plan to return for lunch in the future.
Highly recommend.- Food

We were at the Lavender Bee Tearoom today for lunch with my son and his partner. We are visiting from the USA. This is the most charming, lovely place for lunch! The family who run it are lovely people, so very nice to talk to. The food was wonderful. We all ordered different sandwiches and along with our sandwiches came various side salads including baby potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, beets. The coffee lattes were quite delicious. Of course we had to have slices of their beautiful cakes and enjoyed those immensely with cream. The village of Weekely is very charming with a number of thatched cottages and a beautiful old church. I highly recommend that you go and visit the Lavender Bee Tearoom, it is terrific.- Food

What an amazing place. Food is excellent. Can't praise the staff enough for the service. Lots of extras - not just your average tea and cake or sandwich - way beyond our expectations

I advise making a table reservation as the tearoom is popular and can become very busy. Beautiful place for afternoon tea, light lunch and refreshments. They offer great choices on their menu and a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. I had prawn marie-rose on brown bread and it was super delicious. I also had a delicious freshly baked warm scone with jam and cream. Stunning setting in a thatched cottage complete with outstanding customer service. Will definitely return.- Service

Excellent service, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The presentation of the food and taste was amazing and the value was extremely good. I had the Chicken Club sandwich and my friend had the Sea Food Ploughman's. Definitely going back again, to this cozy thatched cottage tea room.

Excellent place for lunch, coffee n cake or afternoon tea.
Wonderful homemade cakes, but they also baked their own ham's, beef, sausage rolls, scones, coleslaws, chutneys too.
Regarding the afternoon tea, there's a savoury or sweet choice here, so caters for everyone's taste.
Children's menu, dogs allowed in lovely cottage garden, and if it's cold, they supply blankets too, which is a lovely idea.
My advice would be to book a table, please note that there are a couple of steps down into the inside seating area, but there a hand rails, likewise to the toilet, so please be mindful with children and less able people. Also from the decking, down into the garden there are steps, however the garden can be reached directly from the back lane or through the gate in the front that doesn't involve steps and there are several seats and benches to seat on and enjoy the pretty setting.
In busy times there is always the picnic hamper option available for those that wish to sit on the grass or wish do have a take away.
This tea rooms is the very best, great customer service, good range of choice, Nd so deserve their recent food industry award.Hi when you go best to book then you will not be Disappointed and Guaranteed to have a table as it’s a very smell tea room . and Guaranteed to have a table as it’s a very smell tea room .
As l did take my family for their first time .on the 24 th Aug 2024
as there was 4 of us and my Grandson who was 11 week old .
my grandson he was very good and thy where ok in us bringing him. As l told them. thank you 😊
as l been before this my second time going
The people are friendly we found in their own way.
it’s how thy come across ..
as some people don’t like this
As a couple of people said thy are rude in there reviews thy said
..
we found them ok We don’t take thing to hart .…
.it’s a family run tea room and thy do a good job in there own way ..
it’s how you take them … thy down to Earth people .
you say thy should not be like this rude . ok it’s your Opinion.
You may fined thy are ok if you go .like we did.
we think thy are ok …it’s how thy come across l think
if you don’t like this sort of thing don’t bother to go
. It seam this person don’t like how he was treated and talk to …
Just take them with a pinch of salt …..thy ok
Some people just want to come and eat l understand this .
Keep it in mind it’s a small room .so people will hear what’s thy saying to the people who want food .
it’s not a romantic place to go to . We like it.
we don’t take it seriously . …as life be boring
We got no problem with them ..as some do
but other people are ok having a chat or laugh ..with them
As l said
As my family thy enjoyed there food and Atmosphere also this weekend
And l loved my Apple & Blackberry pie with custard it’s was hot

I had heard good things about this place, and I'm happy to confirm they were all correct! The place itself is clean and full of character, making it a genuinely unique place to have an afternoon tea/cake or just some of their lovely homemade food. Staff were considerate and informative and I wish them all the success in the future. Would definitely go again!! Thanks Lavander Bee 🐝
